Don't Forget Us

Time to do something I have not done in a while.

So, I've seen and read 's post about BIONICLE Generation 2 being cancelled. And after reading it (and seeing the update), I felt... well, no other way to put it... disappointed.

So much effort, so much potential... and it's just gone. It was All For Nothing. Sales never met standards. I guess BIONICLE wasn't the talk of 2015 as it used to be back in 2001. Heck, kids these days want either the newest phone or video game. Toys have somewhat become a thing of the past...

But if LEGO decides to not revive it again and leave it buried in sands of time, then those of us who grew up with it, we carry it with us in our memories. Because if those memories die, then BIONICLE would truly be dead.

So to honour this, I've whipped up a little pic with , , , , and , the Toa Mata. Or as I like to call them, the Toa Olda. Did you know that before they were officially named "Toa Mata/Toa Nuva", these guys were simply called "Toa"? On a more interesting note, "Toa Olda" was a popular fan name back in '01.

To those of you who still embrace BIONICLE to this day, let's not forget these guys, they were such a big part of our childhoods...
